The Piano Concerto in A minor, the only concerto of the Norwegian composer Grieg, is regarded as one of the most representative piano concerto of the Romantic Era. The most unusual thing is that Grieg forsakes the lengthy orchestral introduction of the classical concerto. The rolls of the kettledrum leads the piano to fingers the theme directly, which is extremely impressed.
