Hertha Töpper (born 19 April 1924 in Graz) is an Austrian contralto opera singer. Her significant roles include Dorabella in Così fan tutte, Fricka in Das Rheingold, Brangäne in Tristan und Isolde, Judith in Bluebeard's Castle, the title role in Carmen. She sang in all the great opera house of the world, including London, Vienna, Milan, Brussels, Amsterdam, Rome, Zurich. High points of her career were engagements at the Salzburg Festival and at the Metropolitan Opera in New York.  [source from Wikipedia]
