Messiah, HWV 56 11. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light (bass)
This is the oratorio composed by Handel, and is one the most famous work of his in the meanwhile. "Hallelujah" is the most well-known section in the whole "Messiah". The meaning of "Hallelujah" is "Praise the Lord", which is the yell of the christians when worshiping God.
