Grand Concert in G minor, Op. 6 No. 8 - done for the night of Christmas 4. Allegro - Pastoral. Largo
This is the work of the Italian composer Corelli. He composed twelve concerto grosso, and eight are cancertida chiesa. There is usually an Adagio overture as the introduction and then follows an Allegro Fugue, which sounds graver with the alternative fast and slow movements. The Christmas Concerto is one of this kind.
