The Girl from Arles Suite No. 1, WD 40 No. 3 Adagietto
This is the Prelude of the first act in L'Arlésienne. The front section obtains materials from the Provence local folk song, the March of the Kings, and proceeds the variation with different instruments and harmonies. The back section displays the theme of the hero's brother by the solo saxophone.
