The comic opera, Orphée aux enfers, is adapted from the Greek tragedy myth, which describes the musician Orphée visiting his dead wife in the Underworld. This opera ends with the famous Galop, portrays the reveling party all gods joined. The melody of this dance is often used as the incidental music of the "Cancan" in the nightclub, and appears in the advertisements, TV programs and films at times.
