The Thieving Magpie La Gazza Ladra (Ouverture)

This is the work of the Italian composer Rossini. It is a comedy about a thieving magpie steels an expensive silver spoon of the rich and almost leads to the execution of the maidservant, and fortunately, the whole truth is revealed at the end. The overture begins with the roll of the side drum, and then brings out the boiling marcia melody.
