The Tales of Hoffmann Schöne Nacht, du Liebesnacht

This work, obtains materials from the novel of the German Romantic author Hoffmann, is the last opera of the French composer Offenbach. He forsakes the style of operetta that he is at home in this work, and uses a lyric fashion to express the abundant fantastic colors of the content of this opera. The whole melody is extremely graceful, and its value gets beyond other general operetta works.
